This month we are delighted to introduce three powerful new features designed to give you deeper insights into your practice, keep client details effortlessly up to date, and connect you with the right specialists through our brand-new Ecovery partnership.
We have completely redesigned the home screen of Rehab Guru with a new dashboard that surfaces the information that matters most to you. Depending on the add-ons active on your account, you will see tailored widgets covering treatment notes, bookings and exercise prescriptions at a glance.
Administrators can see a consolidated overview including new patients, cancellations, monthly revenue, pending notes and expenses, all without leaving the dashboard. Revenue-per-team breakdowns let you quickly compare performance across team members.
For those who need to dive deeper, the brand-new Analytics page offers a comprehensive suite of reports with customisable date ranges. You will find data on booking methods, cancellations, upcoming appointments, treatment note completion rates per practitioner and exercise programme statistics.
One of the most valuable additions is the demographics view, where you can explore gender distribution, visit patterns and a particular favourite, a heatmap showing when your clinic is busiest and quietest throughout the week. This kind of insight helps you make smarter staffing and scheduling decisions.
This is just the beginning. We will be extending the analytics suite over the coming months with additional reports and dashboards. One of the most requested features from our community has been the ability to update patient information directly from a submitted form. Smart Fields makes this a reality.
When building a form template, you will now find a new category of fields alongside the standard ones: Smart Fields. These special fields map directly to the client details record, meaning any information your patient provides can flow straight back into their profile.
You can add individual smart fields or use the quick-add button to include them all at once. Each smart field comes with an "Auto apply to client details" toggle. When enabled, patient details are updated automatically the moment a form response is assigned. When disabled, you retain full control, a notification icon will alert you that the submitted data differs from the current record, and you can choose which fields to update on a case-by-case basis.
This is an incredibly powerful addition that we hope will save you a significant amount of time keeping client records accurate and up to date. A full help document covering all edge cases will be available on the Rehab Guru support pages shortly.
We are excited to announce our integration with Ecovery, a clinical triage platform developed in the United Kingdom. Ecovery is ISO 27001 certified, offering a secure, white-labelled platform used by private insurers, health groups and digital health solutions.
The platform indexes a vast database of specialists by location and speciality, addressing a real industry challenge: approximately 20% of referrals are sent to the wrong clinician, and 86% of patients report difficulty finding the right specialist. As a Rehab Guru user, you can now help change that.
Navigate to the Correspondence section of any client record and create a new item. You will see a new "Search Specialists" option alongside a ready-made Ecovery letter template provided by Rehab Guru. Apply the template to get a pre-drafted referral letter, then use the specialist search to filter by location, suburb, operator, speciality, sub-speciality and over 800 condition-specific criteria. You can also filter by whether a specialist works with young adults, uses enhanced recovery protocols or offers robotic-assisted procedures.
Once you have found the right specialist, select them to add their details to a shortlist, insert them into your correspondence, preview the letter and send it directly via email or download it as a PDF. It is a seamless workflow that keeps everything within Rehab Guru.
